A shrub is distinguished from a tree by its multiple stems and shorter height, usually a maximum of 15–20 ft tall, though they can be as short as 3″ in height. Shrubs are distinguished from other perennials by the fact that they are woody as opposed to herbaceous in makeup.  Shrubs may also be either deciduous or evergreen. Within these broad parameters the variety of outstanding possible shrub options for our USDA hardiness zone 5( and lower) is almost endless.  Well, maybe abundant is more accurate.

We pride ourselves in providing healthy, interesting varieties of shrubs that will do well in any Inland landscape.  Just let us know what your individual situation is, and a general idea of what kind of overall ‘look’ you want to create and we will be delighted to provide a nice range of options to choose from.
